Goldfish is Dead (2017)
writer, producer, director of photography
An isolated city dweller's carefully cultivated routine is interrupted when her goldfish dies.
The first project made in collaboration with Greycork Inc., this unique short film came together very quickly. Although a first draft of the script had been completed December 2014, Henry Chaisson, the director and editor, approached me about creating this project in May 2016 and we completed principal photography in mid-June with Greycork's support in an incredibly fast 3-day shoot on a $5,000 budget. Including ourselves, our cast and crew numbered six persons in total, allowing for flexible collaboration, a quick shooting pace, and precise direction. Simply put, this movie was a lot of fun to make. It is in consideration at film festivals nationally.
